Well, as you may remember from my posts here and on my podcast, me and mines are big fans of the game UNO. And to that end I collect UNO sets. There are many sets out there, pretty much one for every thing you can think of. Each set usually has it’s own “special” card and rule. To this point I have about 11 sets. From The Simpson’s to Harry Potter, Cars to South Park, and my sister for my birthday hooked me up with a very special set. A set I’ve been looking for, for quite some time…. the ELUSIVE Hello Kitty Uno Set. I was stoked to get it as I’ve been looking for it since December of last year.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, my sisters (taking refuge at ours from the Tipsy house fiasco) , my boyfriend and I played a marathon 4 hours of UNO on Tuesday night/Wednesday Morning. We used several of my sets, Harry Potter with it’s Invisibility Cloak and Howler cards, my sister’s Disney Princess card set with the wicked “DRAGON” card and finally the Hello Kitty set with the “Love me Not” card. And we don’t play no nice Uno, this here is cut throat. People cuss, people get angry and many many “Ba-Bam Bitches” are thrown around. Anyone interested?

Yes that’s me. I usually fail quite miserably at my attempts at romance (I’m sure the boyfriend would back me up), but I am a hopeless romantic and today on MacWorld, there was an article with the man who proposed to his girlfriend using the time lapse cameras Apple had set up to record the first 24 hours of the Apple Store Fifth Avenue. It’s a nice article and show just how fanatical some folks are about their Macs. My proposal to my love had nothing to do with a Mac if you’re wondering… I did it on the boardwalk…
