Today is my 6th day in Japan and as you can see… I’ve not blogged once. I had so many plans to blog and post things but to be honest, once I get to the hotel at night, I’m exhausted and we’re up again the next day so early that I haven’t had much time do any blogging. I have posts written (here and there on a train) but they need photos and polishing. I will do my best to get them posted as soon as I can but as we have a huge amount of things left to do, it might be awhile. So far, its’ been the trip of a life time. I’ve done so many things I never thought I’d do. I’m having a blast!!

I’ve kept it largely a secret but today I embarked on my first trip outside of the US. And as with most things I do, I didn’t do half assed. I left today for Japan. I will be speding two weeks here, one in Kansai (the south) and a week in Tokyo/Chiba. I’ve been planning for this trip for a really long time and I can’t believe it’s finally here. I’ve got a flight from Philly to Detroit where I rendezvous with Pinoyboy and the it’s a 13 hour plane ride across Canada, Alaska and the Pacific to Tokyo’s Narita International Airport and then finally onto Kansai International, where we will meet one of my dear friends Rinki. We have a lot planned here’s our agenda Thursday Sep 24 – arrive in Osaka It’s quite. busy schedule and I’m sure it will be great fun! I will do my best to post photos and stories as we go! Ittakimasu (I’m leaving)! A few posts back, I talked about how I had some problems with my upgrade to Snow Leopard. I had set in my mind that I was going to do a rebuild of my machine. I figured it had been quite some time since I did a clean install and a hand migration of my data. It was definitely worth it as all my issues went away and it was a great chance to clear out the applications I haven’t used in forever. My MacBook is screaming on Snow Leopard now! |
