Surprise from Sprint

Yesterday I called Sprint to cancel my EVDO modem. When I called, I found out that my one year contract with them was in fact a two year contract and that I was going to have to pay a cancellation fee. When I kept telling the customer service rep that I swore I signed a one year contract, she transferred me to her supervisor who politely explained how they know I had a two year contracted based off the price I paid for the modem and then offered to cut me a break and halve my termination fee from $150 to $75. I was shocked. I’m kinda sad I left Sprint now.

I really don’t want to leave Sprint and go to AT & T. I’m just delaying the inevitable.
