![]() As if it my obsession with the Phantom Hourglass was not enough, I’ve recently acquired Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii. I have to say that this might just be my favorite Mario game ever. It’s beautiful and intriguing. The game play is so much fun and I have to say easier than I expected while still being challenging. The use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck is excellent. I also enjoy that the boards are short and sweet and the entire game can be played in short bursts, which is great when you’re like me and you don’t sit down for hours at a time to play! If you’re on the fence… go get it!

Today I’m sitting here writing a post about how mad I am at myself for not blogging and I realized that this post is my 1000th post!!! I can’t believe it! I am certainly not going to write about how disappointed I am in myself for not blogging more often but I’m going to touch on some of the same points… only we’ll do them in a happy way! In honor of my 1000th post and because I’m ticked at myself for not keeping up with my blogging. I have decided that for the month of December, I’m going to blog once a day, every day. I can’t promise they’ll be deep insightful posts, they most likely will be commentary on what’s happened in my life or my thoughts on a news story, but still they will be posts. Further, I have decided to upgrade to Wordpress 2.3 and add a few features to the blog. Although ambitious, it is my plan by the first of the year to get the photo section running again. If you’re still out there reading. Thank you so much for sticking with me! 4 years, 1000 posts, unbelievable. Let’s skip how much I suck at remembering to blog and go right to a recap of Thanksgiving at ours. Guests: 6 Food leftover? You bet. We’ve had leftovers every day since Thursday! All in all it went well though we didn’t eat until almost 7pm. After dinner was a bit or Ratatouille and then sinking deeply into a food coma. Friday was filled with laziness and relaxing, and come to think of it Saturday and Sunday were more of the same! I hope your Thanksgiving was as good as mine was! My newest obsession… ![]() The Legend of Zelda - The Phantom Hourglass I’ve been a fan of the Legend of Zelda ever since the first game. I have bought and played many of the games tho I’ve only finished two (Legend of Zelda and The Ocarina of Time). Every version of the game I’ve played has been on a non-handheld system. These days it seems that games on my Nintendo DS get a lot more of my attention than games on my consoles (sadly, even the Wii). This is because it’s much easier to take my DS with me and play than it is to find time to sit down in front of my TV and Wii. Thanks to this unfortunate fact, I was extremely excited when I heard a new Zelda game was coming out for the DS and I must say that I’m not disappointed at all. The game is fun and just challenging enuff to be enjoyable. It’s not too easy nor to hard but I feel just right for the short bursts of time I have to play the game. I spent a good amount of time playing while in St. Louis with Pinoyboy and I’ve made a little time each day since I got it (last Wednesday) to play it. I highly recommend it. I went to St. Louis, MO for the first time this weekend with Pinoyboy. He had to go to there for a family thing and I tagged along to keep him company. I had a fantastic time just hanging out with him (as usual) and checking out this beautiful city. We visited the Apple Store there (I still need to make a list of all the ones I’ve been to), of course and we had a root beer at Fitz’s [link] and Sushi at The Drunken Fish [link] and fondue at Simply Fondue [link]. An unexpected bonus was the time I had to myself while Pinoyboy was visiting with his family. I got a bunch of things done that were to be done on my MacBook and I’ve even managed to fix a few issues with my website. I’m also adding a new feature or two. Most of my time by myself however was taken up by my new obsession… but more on that in another post. I’m off to St. Louis to meet up with Pinoyboy. The trip here was Yes I know, there have not been many posts on my blog, but there are as usual, more than a few in draft. Lots of posts on what I like and don’t like about Leopard and a post or two about my iPhone… but I dunno if I need to post those Leopard posts. Who am I? I’m not a tech reviewer! I’m just another Mac Geek in the world. Also, everyone’s already weighed in. I’m so behind! What do you think? Leopard posts or not? |
