All good things must come to an end, and today was no exception. I had to see my friend Pinoyboy off this morning and it was sad. We had such a good time while he was here and I really got used to him being around. I’m so glad that we get along so well that sometimes, I wonder what I did before I met him! Parting was definitely difficult and of course, not without some drama. As we arrived home yesterday, a snow storm that I was unaware was forecast sprung up dropping snow and ice on us, and it looked like Pinoyboy’s travel plans were going to get dicey. We spent the evening checking out some Anime and trying to avoid the fact that our time together was coming to an end. I was still exhausted and seriously worried about getting him to the airport so I hit the sack before midnight. We woke up extra early this morning and headed out with plenty of time to spare, only to find that of course, not nearly as much snow as was forecast, and the roads were pretty clear. He was nice enough to grab the shuttle from my workplace to the airport, as I had to work today. Of course we got work way to early. I must admit, I wasn’t too sad as it gave us a little more time to chat it up before he had to go. I really want to thank him for being so understanding thru my illness this weekend. Pinoyboy, you really are one of a kind, and I sure am glad we are friends. Thanks… |
