I just want to cancel…

Why in this day and age is it SO hard to cancel service. What service? It doesn’t matter any service. You can sign up for, pay for and edit your account on line but to cancel… nothing. No link, no information. When you can find a number to call, you call and again, no mention of the menu option for cancel my service. And while I’m at it, why did I have to enter my acct information for your system to pull up my account only to have to give it to the person on the phone again?

Do these companies really think by not making it EASY to cancel my service that I’m going to say “Oh what the hell. I’ll just keep paying you for something I don’t want…” If anything, it’s cementing my decision to bin them.

My first experience with that was AOL many years ago. And I don’t even bother putting my account in any more, since as you noticed, it doesn’t matter.

Just keep hitting ‘0′, or say ‘help’. Who was the offending company?
