I’m sorry I’m so late in posting this but it’s been a busy few days. Yes my iPod is here.  I swear I have 3 different posts in draft in addition to the Garmin post still not done. Maybe tomorrow… sigh being a busy MacboyX sucks. After 2.5 hrs of sleep last nite and a 2 hr nap at 9am this morning. This macboyX is going to sleep. You should do the same.

Don, Happy birthday dude. I can’t believe how long we’ve known each other. I wish you a happier year than any you’ve ever had! Happy Birthday! Have you ever felt forgotten? Left out? Not a part of something? Well I do. I’ve been that way most of my life. I’ve never been a part of a clique. I’ve always been a bit on the fringe and that’s been just fine with me. I like being my own person, doing things my own way. But… sometimes… you can still feel left out. Today is one of those days. I don’t want to get into the details because I’m not mad, I’m not really even hurt, I’m just disappointed and I feel left out. A friend, someone I care about a lot, made a point of thanking some people for helping them thru something and I didn’t so much as get a mention. I was not looking for any recognition, but being left out when it was being levied, well I didn’t want that either. Sometimes I just feel like noise. Blending into the background of people’s lives, only being listened for when it’s convenient or when I’m needed. Makes you wonder why you even bother sometimes… Today Civil Rights champion Rosa Parks passed away. In 1955, Parks refused to give up her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama. Her refusal inspired a boycott of the buses by blacks and was a turning point in the battle to make segregation illegal in the United States. She was a quiet, powerful woman who made a huge difference in our world and she will be missed. Thank you Ms. Parks. My iPod is on it’s way it left Shanghai this morning and I just checked again and it’s now in Anchorage. It’s scheduled to be delivered to me on Thursday, woot! One step closer to iPod goodness…  Preparing Shipment? Yay! Maybe by Wednesday I’ll be awash in iPod goodness! Just an FYI, I’m trying to stay offline a little this weekend. I think I’m a bit obsessed with my podcast and I need to chill. Will be mostly offline (read no iChat or Yahoo) for the weekend. Talk to you soon! Well I did it. I ordered the iPod. 60GB white. I’m so excited… However it’s killing me that I have to wait. It won’t even ship until 10/27. I probably won’t get it before Halloween. I did manage to sell my old one so I will be without my iPod for over a week. Sadness. I will get so far behind on my Podcasts I will be lost. Oh well… to quote Ferris… “it so choice, if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.” Oh My Pod! We made it on iTunes. Now let’s not talk about how the bitches never emailed us back!
