In the midst of all the misery and strife in New Orleans I feel so bad for all the people who have lost everything. It’s amazing how fast something can fall apart. I’m glad we got a chance to go to New Orleans this past February during Mardi Gras because I doubt New Orleans will ever be the same. If you can, make a donation to a worthy charity to help these poor people.

It’s hard for me to realize that the places we went, the sites we enjoyed, the fun we had, is most likely gone. But that still does not come close to how much these people have lost. Our hearts go out to them all.
