In the midst of all the misery and strife in New Orleans I feel so bad for all the people who have lost everything. It’s amazing how fast something can fall apart. I’m glad we got a chance to go to New Orleans this past February during Mardi Gras because I doubt New Orleans will ever be the same. If you can, make a donation to a worthy charity to help these poor people. It’s hard for me to realize that the places we went, the sites we enjoyed, the fun we had, is most likely gone. But that still does not come close to how much these people have lost. Our hearts go out to them all. ![]()

We’re exactly one month apart. I knew we were in synch. Happy Birthday buddy. Every thing that could go wrong did today. I’m hella stressed and totally pissed. Mac problems started and ended the day. But they were hardly the worst. I hate travelling. I hate the stress of being on such a tight schedule and I really hate being away from my boyfriend. I’m going the f*ck to bed. How could I NOT post this. This is the greatest thing I’ve seen a LONG time. Found on Gizmodo it’s marketed as “The Ex” by http://www.csbcommodities.com. ![]() “The Ex” I want one of course. This weekend was a mostly offline weekend. I was on for a bit on Saturday nite but for the most part I was MIA. And worse I got sidetracked and did not achieve my goals this weekend. I did however have a spot of fun. Friday night was spent with Mike. We worked on his Mac, I showed him around Tiger a bit and we had dinner . The boyfriend came home just before he left. Shawn and I just chilled and enjoyed the rest of the nite. Saturday was nice as well. I got up late and we went to lunch at the Windmill. It had been so long since I’d been there and it’s not much to look at but yum! Honey-stung Fried Chicken. Mmmm! AJ came over after that and we hung out and caught up with him and his stories. He had a house guest this past week and boy did I enjoy those stories. We had dinner and watched TONS of reality TV. We caught up on some soaps and had a great time. Sunday was a lazy day. We got up early and did laundry and had breakfast. We listened to Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince for most of the day, soaking in the tub, during dinner, after dinner. It was so relaxing and I really needed the time with him. I will be off on back to back business trips and I’m gonna miss him like crazy. Now about the Oh My! Podcast. Well, I’m behind. The site ain’t done. The first podcast ain’t done. My co-hosts are getting antsy. All I can say is… I’m working on it! Wow, what another wonderful episode of Big Brother 6. Kaysar is out again and good for his ass he deserves it. He is now officially the Dumbest Big Brother House guest Ever. What made me most happy was that Janelle got the Head of Household and it was a double eviction week so she nominated Maggie and Jennifer. She then got the veto, replaced Maggie with Yvette and then they voted off Jennifer. Yay. But then, it got even better. Beau won HOH. Not that I really wanted Beau to win (tho yay for the gay boy!), but I like that now the power has shifted again. This week Howie and Janelle had been really bitchy (I’d have been too I think!) but it will be great to see what happens this week. I don’t vote for either side, I vote for drama! Tonight, I upgraded not only my blog to Wordpress 1.5.2, but also Ohmypod’s, Parlezvu.com’s, Weirless.net and all of Keith’s. I’m an old hand at it now. LOL. Upgraded and secure whoo hoo! I give up. The new Netgear router worked fine yesterday but today, it would drop me off the net but not off the network… I give. Here we are 2 weeks later and I’m back to the same setup I had before I started the “upgrade path. I’ll be happy with my 802.11b. Last night, Sue and I finally went out to dinner for my birthday. It was definitely my schedule that caused the delay. We hit up Smokey Bones (I so need to stop going there) and I also got to nip into Best Buy to pick up two very long awaited DVDs… ![]() The Simpsons Season 6
I am very happy and cannot wait to watch them! |
