Ok, Some of you may have noticed that for the better part of yesterday afternoon and evening, both my Blog and actually the ENTIRE site was missing. Well that was my fault. I didn’t meant to but, I deleted the entire web root folder on my server. How you might ask? Well yesterday at lunch I was viewing my site info and noticed that my bandwidth was way up, and I noticed that every nite at about 4am, I was getting a huge, huge spike in traffic! Now who the heck is on my site at 4am, and even if someone was, how could they POSSIBLY be looking at 100 mb of stuff on the site? I don’t even have 100 mb of stuff! Well the culprit appears to be a php page that someone was hitting. So when trying to delete the folder that the page was in via the WEB interface, I must not have clicked correctly and didn’t select the sub folder, but rather was on the web site’s root folder. I clicked delete, it deleted, I panicked and clicked the wrong link in the trash section and just like that the entire site was gone. Sadness. I panicked, did I have a back up…yeah but not with me. It was on my Mac at home. I recreated the root folder and put up a note and finished my work day, dinner with Sue and getting a hair cut. Then I came home and reuploaded the site. I never want to do that again! Ok I admit it, I am addicted to Popsicle Orange, Cherry and Grape popsicles. I love them. However I really love the grape and the cherry more than the orange, they come in pairs, usually a grape and an orange or a cherry and an orange, but sometimes, you get the elusive double, a GRAPE and a CHERRY! Tonight was one of those nights. Things always seem a little brighter when you get a double. Which is your favorite flavor?  I decided to try a new look with my goatee? I like it but I am wondering what others think? Tell me what you think by answering my poll! It’s been an interesting day. We got to my parent’s place around 1pm and no one was home, we got some lunch at Wendy’s (probably my favorite fast food place). We met my sister and her boyfriend at the Mazda dealer where she got an incredible deal on a new Mazda 3s. She was very excited. It took forever but she got the deal she wanted on the car she loved.http://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gif When we got back to my folk’s place, we gave my mom her Easter gift, a filled with all of the embarrassing pics we’d taken of us, my parents and my siblings. It went over big even though she was upset about her pictures. Shawn and I have a running gag with my Mom where we try to snap pics of each other asleep. It started down the shore and hasn’t stopped. It was perfect and we had always wanted to make a book via iPhoto. After the gift giving and merriment, we decided to go to dinner. It’s almost 8:30 pm and we’re still waiting for my mom to get ready. SAD. But my dad and Shawn and I watched Collateral. All I can say is what a good movie! So full of suspense and action. And what an ending! You’ve got to see it! Well I am gonna hope that she’s ready soon, I am starving!!!! Last nite I went out downtown with Shawn and Oliver. We had dinner and drinks at a place called Bump. I had a fantastic meal. I had Chicken Satay for an appetizer, it was really well done and followed by a Filet, cooked well with sugar snap peas and crab mashed potatoes! I also had not one, not two but THREE Sour Apple Martinis. I hardly ever drink that much, a Guinness or a Half and Half or a single Martini once in a while, but three? I discovered that I am quite a happy drunk. I definitely laughed a lot more than I expected. It’s kinda pathetic to be 31 and not know what kinda of a drunk you are! I really was hardly drunk. As Shawn pointed out I merely had a buzz. I mean 3 martinis would not down a boy of my size! Maybe that’s the more pathetic part of the story. Suffice it to say I had a good time with some my boyfriend and one of his good friends and it’s been way too long since that’s happened. After dinner and drinks, we headed over to COSI for some coffee and dessert. I had the biggest Cafe Au Lait ever and nice slice of cheesecake. We got home late but it was worth it. I had a great time. Thanks to both of you. oooh…new transitions! I love my iPod photo!!! Vu, Keith, Rob… three examples of people I’d love to just sit and have a cup with, and they are all too far. I just would like a cup and some chat. Is that so wrong? I need a marquee… “Now accepting applications for friends, please be local and not looking for a hook up!” I need to bother Fig more often I guess. Too bad he hates Starbucks. Ugh. Work calls. Music playing during post: Private Idaho by the B-52’s Well I am no longer a Pampered Chef virgin. I went to my first party tonight at my friend Sue’s. It was fun. I don’t cook (I suck at it), I can bake (sorta) but I LOVED the GADGETS. This is only serving to prove to me that I am sooooooo much a Gadget Whore. I love anything “NEAT”. We did get a few things, not much of course but the one thing I had to have was the deviled egg holder that you put in the freezer and it keeps your eggs cold all day! Hmm we don’t eat deviled eggs often. Maybe it’s ovary envy? Nah… it’s just so cool! I must learn to make deviled eggs before it gets here.
