Monday morning blog

This weekend was a wild one, that’s for sure. Nothing I want to mention here but trust me, it was a doozy.

It’s Monday morning and I am having a crisis. It’s abt 8:15am, they are calling for more than a foot of snow this afternoon. I think I am going to work from home, because I don’t want to get stuck coming home. It takes me 35-40 minutes to usually get home but in the snow…could be 3 hours. However I need to some pages in the office because I didn’t expect to be here today, plus I have a meeting (which I think I can do by Conference Call) today at 2. Part of me wants to go, part of me wants to stay.

On this topic, can I say how SICK I am of snow? It never seems to start at night, always mid-day. While I’m at work! Ugh.

Further I am at a loss with my site… I know this isn’t a big deal to most people but for me it is. It’s one of my major hobbies. As you may know a lot of my site is still “Under Construction” and I want to get it done, but I also want to spend less time on my Mac and the ‘Net. I just dunno. I also want to enlarge the size of the page. It’s currently restricted to be only 800 pixels wide and I want to enlarge it to 1000 pixels. This means some work on the graphics before I can and I just haven’t had the time. I dunno.

I’ve thought about just turning the site back into just a blog… but I really want to develop the movie and music sections.

Maybe I should stop bitching and start coding?

Oh look...someone said something!

I’m the exact opposite here. I wish we got more snow! We put in extra minutes to each school day so that we have a bank of 10 snow days per year. If we don’t use them, we lose them. If it were an hourly employee getting cheated out of 10 paid days, there would be a serious problem, but since I’m a teacher, it doesn’t matter much. Yeah right!

Bravo on taking some extra time off the net. You need to take care of the most important things in your life. I guess I’ll just have to do a better job of keeping in touch by phone. :) Love ya, P!

Go on... say something. You know you want to.
