This weekend was a wild one, that’s for sure. Nothing I want to mention here but trust me, it was a doozy.

It’s Monday morning and I am having a crisis. It’s abt 8:15am, they are calling for more than a foot of snow this afternoon. I think I am going to work from home, because I don’t want to get stuck coming home. It takes me 35-40 minutes to usually get home but in the snow…could be 3 hours. However I need to some pages in the office because I didn’t expect to be here today, plus I have a meeting (which I think I can do by Conference Call) today at 2. Part of me wants to go, part of me wants to stay.

On this topic, can I say how SICK I am of snow? It never seems to start at night, always mid-day. While I’m at work! Ugh.

Further I am at a loss with my site… I know this isn’t a big deal to most people but for me it is. It’s one of my major hobbies. As you may know a lot of my site is still “Under Construction” and I want to get it done, but I also want to spend less time on my Mac and the ‘Net. I just dunno. I also want to enlarge the size of the page. It’s currently restricted to be only 800 pixels wide and I want to enlarge it to 1000 pixels. This means some work on the graphics before I can and I just haven’t had the time. I dunno.

I’ve thought about just turning the site back into just a blog… but I really want to develop the movie and music sections.

Maybe I should stop bitching and start coding?

This past week has been a wild one. A LOT of things have occurred and happened. I have made a decision that I absolutely must spend less time online and chatting. It’s become a bit of a crutch and a taken up way too much of my time. I really need to focus on some other things. I want to keep up my blog and my webpage, I mean I don’t wanna run from the Internet, but I want to not be on IM all night every night.

Now don’t get me wrong I really like chatting with all the people I know online, I am a very talkative person and I get my fix of it chatting with them, but I feel like I am neglecting the real people in my life. You know who you are :). I had even thought about giving up blogging, but I think I still want to keep it up as an outlet. I want to try to learn some new stuff, and do more with my life.

So… if you don’t see me online as much you know why. If you wanna talk and you can’t find me, call me!

Some of you may or may not have noticed but in the left column of the blog is a new section called NEWS BLOG. This is where I am going to post links to things I’ve seen or heard about that I want to share. There isn’t any of my own text associated, for those things I’ll still post in my normal blog section (the PodBrix story is one of those things that ends up in both for example). The last 15 links I’ve posted will be there then they will be gone. Today PodBrix posted a new LEGO minifig. It is a minifig of Steve Jobs. It went on sale at 12:17 am and sold out in 36 minutes. I need to get on their mailing list for sure!

Sigh…woulda been soo cool!

It’s snowing again here in PA. It’s snowing fast, in the last 2 hours since Silky and I came home, it’s snowed at least 2 inches! WOW!

Anyone who knows me knows I love Firefox. I love the browser for it’s speed, stability, tabbed browsing and built in Pop Up blocker. However it would seem SOMEONE finally figured out how to get around Firefox’s pop up blocker. Over the past few days I have noticed not pop ups but pop unders getting through Firefox.

What gives? Anyone else notice it! Sigh, nothing good ever lasts!

Ok, it’s early as hell. I just woke up, the clock said it was 4:43am. I went to bed at about 12:30am. Not as much sleep as I would have wanted, but I feel awake so I know I should get up. Especially since it’s a Monday. On Mondays, my boyfriend works at home, he is usually a very early morning person but since he doesn’t have to drive in he gets up an hour or so later than usual and it seems that this fools my subconscious self into over sleeping my alarm clock most Mondays! But I digress…

I had a very strange thing happen this morning. I woke up in the middle of a dream. One of those dreams that continue when you fall back to sleep. It was a familiar dream. One I’ve had before (this happens a lot to me, I guess dream re-runs?) and I’ve always felt that it was basically a dream based off a movie I’d seen, but this morning I woke up right before the bad part of the dream happens. I actually realized where the dream was going and made a conscious decision to go back to sleep and continue it but when I did, the dream took a bizarre turn. Of course I don’t remember the dream detail for detail but I do know when I am asleep that it happened before. The dream has a very dark, film noir quality and I am a child in it. It’s back in the day (40’s or 50’s) and I am riding my bike a lot from home to somewhere and in the dream I work out a path through a warehouse type area, lots of buildings and elevators, streets and turns. Now this is not a surprise to me, I am aware that LOTS of my dreams are problem solving dreams, this is a side effect of my brain never quite resting.

In the dream, I usually wake up shortly after finding the path. It’s very satisfying I think, and probably why sometimes I wake up fully charged up after a short sleep, solving the maze feels good I suppose. In this dream, I woke up after solving the maze but I heard a voice calling me back in, in the dream it was my mom, I knew I was awake, but chose to “go back”. When I did, I found myself back at home again, and off on my maze one more time. When I got to the end of the maze, there is usually a building where I use a freight elevator to change to street level but while in the elevator I heard a little girl scream, I got out of the building and rode toward my destination but turned up a small alley which I swear was never there. I rode past a courtyard, which was below street level and I saw a little girl, in a white dress in a pool of blood, with a dark figure standing next to her. I woke up again, and this time, I decided not to go back to sleep to find out what happened.

I think that my brain said, “Be glad you solved the maze and don’t get sucked into the rest! Get up and get ready for work!”

Weird huh?

The new comments section got me to thinking about my blog. People used to leave a lot more comments, now while I surely don’t mind if you don’t want a comment, but I was curious…

How many people actually read my blog daily?

I thought about setting up a poll, but I thought maybe I’d just ask, anyone who reads my blog regularlly to leave a comment on this post. You don’t have to leave your name (I’d love if you did but it’s not a requirement), but I am curious about my readership.
