Today we didn’t do much but watch a lot of Anime and get ready to goto Barb’s house for dinner. We arrived around 630 and had some nice convo and dinner with Barb, her husband and her kids. It was a pleasant evening and we had lots of fun. We stayed until about 930pm when we decided to head home. Sadly, Silky could not come with us because he had made plans with some of his friends at work.

The funny part was that we wanted some coffee, so I suggested Starbucks which was on the way home. When we got to the Starbucks it was closed! I wanted to had to the Cosi but Vu and I agreed that we really didn’t want to drive all the way down to Cosi in Exton so we got on the turnpike to head home.

We decided to stop off at the Rest Stop because they had a Starbucks. We got our coffee and as I got in the car, my phone announced I had a voice mail. It was Shawn, he wanted me to meet him in Exton cause he was gonna drive his friend home who had a bit too much to drink. Just our luck. Here we were halfway home and needed to head back to Exton where we woulda been if we would have just gone to COSI! LOL.

We drove back home, made a U-Turn and went back to Exton! Boy am I tired. I am going to bed. Breakfast at the Shady Maple tmrw!

Today was one hell of a busy day. We were up at the crack of dawn and headed up to Allentown to meet Mikey for lunch and to get Shawn’s car serviced. We got there just before lunch and once Mikey was ready, we headed out to lunch in Bethlehem to a place called Apollo. The food was good and the prices reasonable. Shawn and I split Nachos and Quesadillas. Mike got Brie for an appetizer and i tried it and suprisingly I liked it a lot.

After lunch we headed back to the dealership to get Shawn’s car, we were then going to goto my parent’s so they could meet Vu. We decided to go the back way in order to waste some time. Shawn was driving and we headed off to take 309 south but ended up on 78. We then wound up right back where we came from. An hour to do a circle! LOL. It wasn’t a bad thing tho because after we backtracked and found out where we went wrong and got back on course we made it to my parents in just enough time for my dad to get home. We had dinner at the Outback and enjoyed some time with my Dad. When we got home we all pretty much crashed.

Today Silky, Nohea, Fig and I had dinner at a cool little place in Pottstown called The Funky Lil’ Kitchen. It is a house turned into a store front, but the food was awesome.

When we went in we were one of three parties who were there. A couple sat behind us, and a grumpy man sat next to us who was kinda pissy when we noticed he had a bottle of Spiced Apple from Chaddsford Winery. Fig brought some vino and I had something I really liked Pinot Gris. It was good. I had potato leek soup, and Italian Sausage over mashed potatoes. Dinner was good but the company was better.

Today was a great day. I am so glad to have both Silky and Nohea in the same place. It’s not often it happens. We woke up all kinds of late today because of being up so late with the LEGO building. We went only really had one meal and that was dinner and we went out to the Shady Maple for dinner. Again we ate so much.

We came home and built the Millenium Falcon. AJ came by with his new whip! A Ford Expedition. Merry Christmas to him!

I am having so much fun it should be illegal!

Vu arrived today. It started off as a pretty bumpy day since Silky and I were up until after 4am cleaning up after our Christmas dinner guests. AJ split around 3am and I was worn out.

We got to the airport a bit late because of some heavy traffic, but we got there. I was so happy to see Vu I can’t even put it into words. We had originally planned to hit up Pat’s for a Cheesesteak but it was SOOOOO cold that we just headed back toward home. We did stop off for a bit of shopping in Exton and had dinner at Buca Di Beppo (one of our fave places!). We ate soo much. The food was great as always.

When we got home, we opened our gifts from Vu (even tho he agreed NOT to buy something, he did anyway!). He gave Silky a way cool talking Edna Mode from the Incredibles. It’s so cool. It talks like my talking Stitch doll.

He gave me not one but two LEGO models from the Star Wars collection. One was the AT-AT from the Empire Strikes Back, the other was the Millenium Falcon. We of course HAD to put one together and so we stayed up so late tonight. We got the AT-AT done and it looks amazing. I wanted to take some photos during the build but my battery was dead in the camera. We decided that we’d also put together all my OTHER Star Wars LEGO kits so I can take pics of all my stuff to post on both my site and to the LEGO tribe on tribe.net.

Ok I am exhausted. I am off to bed. G’nite

Boy am I full. Christmas dinner went very well. Even opening the gifts went pretty smoothly. AJ came over for dinner as well as my mom, dad, brother, sister and their sig. others.

Turkey, roast beef. mac n cheese, and stuffing muffins were all on the menu of delicious food Shawn and AJ prepared. After we gave our gifts and everyone was pleased with both what they received and the reactions to the gifts they gave.

All in all it was a very very good Christmas

Was up HELLA late last nite. Didn’t get to bed til almost 3am. Silky was up at the crack of dawn cooking again! I woke up around 9 and got outta the toasty warm bed at about 10am. He had breakfast waiting and we opened our gifts. He was soooooo not expecting the Bose SoundDock. I know it was more than I shoulda spent but he was so happy it was worth it.

I got lots of stuff I wanted and I was suprised by all but one of the gifts! I asked for and got the Cult of the Mac Book and I can’t wait to read it. I also got a car charger/holder for my iPod, two fleece scarves, 2 cars for my collection, 2 Eddie Izzard DVDs, a NEW Bluetooth headset for my cellie and the best gift…a calendar made from my pics of my visits to LA. He is the best I swear!

Well back to cooking. The fam will be here in a few hours!

What a wonderful day. Today was a great day. We got up late, did some last minute shopping, and headed down to Shawn’s grandmother’s. We met up with Oliver for dinner at N. 3rd. The food was great, the company fantastic.

After dinner we headed home and met up with AJ who helped Shawn get dinner started for tomorrow.

All in all it was a great nite!

I am so pissed.

I don’t know why it is that no matter what you do you get screwed.

Today it’s Cingular/ATT. For those who don’t know the back story, I used to be an AT&T customer. I loved AT&T until I bought a GSM phone from them. The coverage was awful. So, I went back to digital service and was very happy until I started traveling. I needed a nationwide service plan, no problem right? WRONG. I couldn’t get a NATIONWIDE TDMA plan. I could only get a Nationwide GSM plan, of course this just changed the week before I called (it’s always that way with them). So I got pissed. I wanted to cancel my account but it was some ridiculous fee ($249 I think) to quit, so I got a Cingular GSM phone and put my AT&T phone on the lowest possible pricing plan I could to wait out my contract.

I checked earlier this month and found out the my contract expired on 12/18. I asked them if I could cancel it now and they said NO, you have to call back after the 18th. I called back today and they told me that my billing cycle ends on 12/19 and so now I’d have to pay another month worth of service. I lost it. I told her there is NO WAY I am paying a month of service just because it’s 2 days past. I went on a tirade and sure enuff, she didn’t need to charge me anymore!

Oy.

Today is Dad’s birthday. Happy birthday old man.
