Well with Steve’s urging and Shawn’s consent, I submitted a pic to Devin’s Bear of the Day site. Much to my suprise I was chosen to be on the site this upcoming SUNDAY (Feb 1), Super Bowl Sunday no less. Check me out.

It’s been forever since I posted to my blog. Sorry for the delays, things have been hectic around me.

This weekend started off great! For those of you who don’t know, Friday started off great as I won a free song from the Pepsi/iTunes giveaway even though the promotion does not start until Feb 1, we had bottles of diet Pepsi at work and I won. I promptly submitted a post to my favorite rumor site, Macrumors.com and posted to the Macrumors forums being a good Mac Geek and letting everyone know I won. I am not sure but I think I am the first person to report winning a song, I know at least on Macrumors I was. Well the editor of Macrumors arn, emailed me and asked me if I’d take a pic of my winning bottle and of course I agreed. When I got home, I snapped off the pics with my Canon PowerShot S220 and sent em in.

I was not prepared for what happened next. I was on the front page of Macrumors and people were commenting on my post. It was pretty cool, I uploaded my pics on to macboyx.com and went about my business. Well Saturday morning, I noticed that my “story” and URL were posted on As The Apple Turns, wow pretty damn cool.

On Monday, I did my usual check of my web page error logs and usage reports and found that I had over 69,000 requests to the page. 47,000 of which came on SUNDAY. To put this in prespective, last month we had 617 requests. Amazing whoo hoo! It also pointed out that I have a bit more work to do on the site. The number one most requested file on the site was the picture of the actual winning cap, but running not far behind was my “Webcam” page where I had hoped to get a QuickTime Stream from my iSight going, I guess alot of people wanted to know what this geek looked like…however the pics of my Macs ranked much higher!

A few more people have signed the guestbook…have you? So not a bad weekend to be a geek!

Today is my boyfriend Shawn’s birthday. Happy birthday sweetie! I love you!

Ok…I haven’t posted in a while, but I have been on vacation! But today something happened and I need to vent. Why is that I am not allowed to make friends on the ‘net? Why do men constantly think that since I am not “available” that I can’t speak to them? Ugh, I met a nice guy today we emailed until he found out I was not single, once that was out (right away mind you) that was that and no more talkie to the married pariah! Ugh! I just want to make a new friend! Oh well thank goodness I have the best friends a girl can have already (you know who you are, even though I doubt you read my blog!).

Oh yeah and it’s new years! We rang in the New Year with AJ, my parents and Carrie, Sam, Charlotte and Miranda! Our last New Years Eve with the SATC girls! The last 8 episodes start soon and then it’s all gone. Hey what’s a gay man to do but to love 4 girls from the city!
