Ok let me first say OMG! The screen is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO F’ing big! I can put iChat, Safari, Dreamweaver and a DVD all on at the same time and see it all! I was shocked the Apple Cinema Display (ACD) didn’t have a power cord, just the adapter.

The G5 is so heavy! Almost 50 lbs, but so beautiful! Like a good geek I took some pics of it. Click here to see them. I took the G5 and opened it up, wow SO nice inside, all clean and shiny. No wires, no nothing. It’s sweet.

Hooked it all up, I gotta say I thought that the G5 should have more ports, only 2 USB on the back and one FW 400 (I could care less since abt the FW800). To put it into perspective, I have a printer, a scanner, the keyboard, my track ball, my card reader, and the SoundSticks.

Luckily, the keyboard has 2 USB ports and cool so does the Cinema Display! So that covered my USB, however I have 4 Firewire Devices (my iBot, my iPod, and my 2 FW Hard Drives. But ok I got that sorted.

It’s fast. I love the speed and I love the cinema display. It makes it!

Ok time to play some more!
